I encourage you to go to the following website http://www.doe.nv.gov/Standards_Pre-Kinder.html and explore Nevada's Pre-K standards. I use these guidelines when planning my weekly and monthly curriculum and themes, and take preparing your child for school very seriously.
The website has guidebooks for families to download in the following areas:
Language and Literacy
Mathematics
Social Studies
Music and Movement
